Bringing in more green space, healthy food access, and revitalizing NE Detroit

In order to make a difference, we must began by being the change we wish to see. Its time for positive change; we have to start by building coalitions, making connections in the community, and by working together towards progressive change to see results. Community gardening, community clean-ups, and beautification projects help us empower our community, restore pride, and inspire us to connect with our surroundings. Motor City Makeover Day was a great day to give back, inspire others, and be the change we all need in our community. The time for CHANGE is now.

President Tammy of the 8 mile Association says she supports young leaders and wants to see respected and true representation of the future in Detroit City Council. We are always happy to join forces and make a difference in Northeast Detroit together!

Wayne County Commissioner Bob Ficano and I together making a difference in Northeast Detroit. Public service is all about being the voice of the community, giving back, and being there at the times needed most.
We must all come together and rebuild Detroit to see change. If we start by uniting as one, we can make some significant impacts. One of our initiatives in my platform is to bring in more sustainable resources and opportunities.

  1. I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that too few folks are speaking intelligently about. Now i’m very happy that I found this during my search for something regarding this.
